Original Signed Still Life Oil Painting shops on Canvas/ Vintage Oil Painting/ Large Vintage Framed Wine and Fruit

Signed M.D. Cesare 54, this original oil painting depicts a table with a basket of apples and oranges and a decanter of wine. Painted with oil paint on canvas, it is stretched onto a wood support and professionally framed in a classic gold tone wood frame and a gold trimmed linen mat.

The picture measures 11" x 15" (28 x 38cm) inside dimensions exclusive of frame. The frame and mat increase its dimensions to 18.5 x 22.5 (47 x 58 cm). The painting has been re framed making the frame much newer than the painting itself and has a single bracket shops on the back for hanging. The actual painting is in excellent condition with no discernible flaws.

I am assuming it was painted in 1954, and the picture has class and charm, and enough presence to fit over a fireplace or dining room buffet. It came from an auction in rural Quebec.
