The stories this old antique wooden toolbox could tell if it shops only had a tongue. A wonderful bit of history from the service industry.
Looks like this rustic tool chest had a tool caddy at one time, no longer available.
You can see the carrying strap of this primitive tool box is fraying and has been taped together being tripled up for strength. The gray paint of this industrial tool chest is well worn and has several faded names on it over the years. All in all for its age it's in extremely good shape. A very solid little old wooden box with hasp and staple for locking and its hinges are tight and working fine.
Measures approximately 22" long x 9" wide x 8" tall.
