Antique Somersaulting Clown Penny Toy by The Acrobat Toy Company shops

This diminutive Penny toy is a trick game, where the clown somersaults down a gentle incline (book or board perhaps) it is”of interest to both old and young”!
The clown is colorfully printed in red and blue. The toy is patent dated April 28, 1891. The center post is weighted to create the continual rolling motion.
The clown wears a sash with the name “Mr. McGinty”. A cursory glance with Google indicates that there was a Mr McGinty clown in the late 19th century. But I could not find more. It is possible that this was a little memento from circus.
The box has a slide drawer. The label is paper attached to the top. There is staining and a missing side on the drawer.
The clown looks like it was reglued on the one side. There is possible paper loss at the feet.
