Lidded Casserole Baking Dish in shops Broken Blue glaze - Beautiful handmade stoneware pottery dish goes from freezer - oven - table. 8"W x 6.5H

I make these stoneware bowls with my shops hands, throwing them on the potter's wheel using local clays. I make all my own glazes and they are completely food safe. The stoneware items that I make are very sturdy, the glazes 'fit' the clay. They can be used in a conventional oven as baking dishes, dishwasher safe too. I don't recommend using them in microwaves.

My pottery is very chip resistant and with minimal care, will last you a lifetime. This particular dish was made as a baking dish - perfect for baking any type of casserole type dishes. These are great baking dishes, thick enough so the crust bakes evenly, not burning and beautiful enough to bring right to the table.

The color: While mostly blue, my Broken Blue glaze has shades of teal, browns, golds and muted shades of shale/slate like blue tones.Its finish varies from semi matte to semi gloss.
