Vintage Victorian shops Silhouette Mourning Handkerchief Linen Pink Blue Black Antique Textiles

For sale lovely pink linen mourning handkerchief,hand-embroidered with an applique silhouette of a lady in black. Finely embroidered and stitched with thread that looks like wool. Beautiful linen material. Large size hanky. Lovely arched frame around the lady and other embellishments done in white with lower header in blue linen. Unique piece and certainly interesting to me, it is eye-catching, sad and sweet all at once. I am shops not an expert on textiles so I might be wrong but I think this handkerchief is antique. It is done in the Victorian style but probably made later, perhaps 1920s. But then again, I really don't know for sure. It's beautiful regardless.

Condition: Very good/excellent vintage/antique condition, this doesn't look to have been used. It was folded and stored, treasured, kept as a memorial. Blemishes to note are fade/discoloring on top panel and fold lines, see pics. Hanky is "as found" condition from the drawer. Color nice, soft pink and blue, even . No stains, holes, bad odors such as must or smoke. Lovely and certainly nice enough to gift.
