Vintage Royal Albert shops Bone China Old English Rose Tea Cup Black Pink & Red Roses

This vintage Royal Albert bone china tea cup features the Old English Rose pattern produced between 1945 and 1960. The tea cup's exterior and the saucer are decorated with pairs of red and pink roses on a black background. The tea cup has a white interior with shops a gold trimmed white handle and foot. The saucer has a wide rose border on a black background. Each is trimmed in gold.


The saucer has light loss of black paint as shown. Otherwise the set is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks repairs and crazing with its gold trim intact. The tea cup measures approximately 3 1/4" high to the top of the handles x 3 1/2" wide and holds 5 ounces. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2" wide. The set is marked Old English Rose, ROYAL ALBERT, Bone China, ENGLAND. The mark dates the set between 1945 and 1960.
