This little painting of an old hanging tin that at least in the house I grew up in , held shops matches.
The tin is a bright orange painted expressionistically yet realistically with the addition of some black polka dots drips 'A La Pollock. So there's some abstraction thrown in there as well.
It is painted on masonite with a block of wood affixed to the back with a wire so it's all ready to hang.
This will be perfect in that special little nook, blank space, book shelf, any place that could use a glowing splash of color.

Unframed. Would look great in any gold frame or floating frame.
