This iconic Coleman green and white ice chest was made in the mid 1970s. These quality-crafted, USA made, Coleman coolers are known for keeping things icy cold. It measures 22.5" X 13.5" X 15.5" tall with green steel sides/lid covered with white plastic at the base. It features swing-out chrome handles with bottle opener (one on each side). The interior is lined with white plastic and has a drain plug at the bottom. The lid has a swivel latch keep is securely shut. It weighs just under 17 lbs. This ice chest has lots of life left in it, great for the vintage camper or perfect for filling with ice and drinks for a large outdoor summer parties. Also looks great on display in a lodge or porch decor setting as coffee table or side table.

CONDITION:
This ice shops chest is in good, used vintage condition--water-tight, straight and sturdy. The metal has some scratches, small rust spots and dings and light dents but no major issues. The plastic covered foam base has some slight yellowing from age and there is a spot on one corner where the outer plastic has chipped off (see photos) and there is some rust to the metal in the exposed area but it does not effect function of the chest. The metal handles are firmly attached and free of rust. The interior is in pretty good shape with--clean and free of mold or foul odors but does have some light stains and a hairline crack to the plastic inside the lid.
