Original shops Painting | Sunset Wave | Textured Acrylic Art

This is a plein air painting of a stunning beach sunset I enjoyed here in Los shops Angeles. The sky is a colorful array of light blue, pale purple, and coral. The sun is barely above the horizon and is reflecting vibrant orange and coral light on the water. There is a thick textured wave breaking on the sand. 2 birds glide in into the distant sky.

I painted this in my textured palette knife style using acrylic paints and mediums on stretched canvas. The painting wraps around to the edges of the canvas, so framing is not required. It is coated with a professional gloss varnish that protects the paints from fading and discoloration.
