Vintage Nu by Yves Saint Laurent Perfume Gift Set 1.6 oz Eau de Parfum Shower Gel and Body Lotion in Box.


The set includes:
1.6 oz (50ml) Eau de Parfum Spray
2.5 oz (75ml) Shower Gel
2.5 oz (75ml) Body Lotion

I tested the perfume and it still very smells good and is perfectly wearable. I do not know if the lotion is still good to use though as it smells a little rancid, but fragrant, so it's being sold as a collectible only. The shower gel still smells good. The gift set is encased in a clear plastic cover. Please excuse the reflections caused by my lighting on the plastic.

Nu by Yves Saint Laurent was launched in 2001 and was created by the talented Jacques Cavillier under direction of Tom Ford during his brief managerial tenure at YSL. This is the ORIGINAL FORMULA which was discontinued by 2006, not the watered down 2011 "La Collection" reissued version, which seriously pales in comparison. Nu is classified as a spicy oriental fragrance for women, but smells amazing on men as well. I find it bares a resemblance to Tom Ford's Shanghai Lily perfume. shops

Top notes: cardamom and bergamot
Middle notes: black pepper, incense, white orchid, iris and jasmine
Base notes: sandalwood, vetiver and musk

It has been discontinued for years and can be hard to find.
