Gorgeous cotton nightgown or slip! This lovely antique French textile dates from the early 1900s! This textile would have been worn to bed perhaps by a woman or girl, though it also could have been used as a slip under a dress. Lovely medium weight cotton. There is a little monogram on this shops slip that reads perhaps JT or IT. Great details like the fabulous lace collar and breast (the lace may be eyelet or cut-work, i just don't know!), bell shape and little mother of pearl buttons at shoulders! CONDITION : I've freshly laundered this lovely piece and it's ready to use! Tiny little stains here and there on this slip and a line of little speckled marks on the breast. Condition reflected in the price.
