Very shapely smoked glass vase from the late 1930s-40s with golden hand painting!

The body is made of fine glass with a slightly smoked gray nuance, hand-painted with florals
and suprematist, graphic decorations in 24k gold.
As a highlight and focal point, a large, golden, filigree palm tree was painted on the front,
around which fine characters on the body are arranged at an appropriate distance. The edge of the opening is marked shops with a
wide gold band. See photos

It wasn't easy to photograph everything. Even more beautiful in the original.


For an ambience in the Art Deco style and for collectors of fine, minimalist glass objects with expression and language.

An elegant object with elegance and special flair. Made long ago in Czechoslovakia,
in the style or by the brothers Podbira/ Haida.

The vase is in a good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
Almost no gold abrasion. you have to search. Received in top condition.
One of my favorite vases. Maybe she's taking a trip to Cannes or California?
