The drawing of this lovely wrap is made with metallic gold gutta which has a light feel on silk and makes the design precious.
I painted this piece of wearable art on high end twill #10 pure silk with French dyes. Twill silk has a subtle sheen, drapes beautifully and is often picked for luxurious fashion accessories . It is more expensive than Habotai shops flat silk which is the most commonly used fabric for silk painting.
The hem is hand rolled and sewn .

Care : wash in lukewarm water with a little mild detergent . Do not soak for a long time , dry flat on a towel and iron at a low temperature when the silk is still slightly wet .
