Indian Statue- Goddess Laxmi in a 11" 1/3 H wood carving | figurine | sculpture shops for home decor

This is a hand carved solid wood figure. It's made of a very dense shops hardwood that I believe to be Asian maple. Asian maple is very comparable to hard rock maple in the US. The base is made of a beautiful clear grained rosewood. This piece is in perfect conditon. There are no cracks, repairs, and nothing I can see but perfection. I have not seen such wonderful and detailed craftsmanship as is exhibited in this piece in a very long time. It's a treasure and I hope someone purchases it who will treasure the simple beauty of this carving as well as the stuning crastsmanship that was required to make it.
