1930s Horsehair shops Wide Brim Hat

Beautiful and rare early 1930s horsehair hat in a lovely soft matte gold with a wide floppy brim. Slightly shorter in the crown than a cliche, not sure of the name of this particular style but it's lovely all the same. The layers of horsehair and zig zag stitching create an interesting spiral on the crown as an extra detail. Gros grain sweatband inside the hat.

In good condition, wearable with care. There are a few holes in the hat, one on the crown the rest in the brim. The ones in the brim mostly look like the horse hair is separated in places rather than a hole per say, see photos. I stuffed the hat with red tissue to help it fit the mannequin's tiny head better.
