I bought this Japanese style shirt from Ebay (new) and crossed my fingers that the sizing would work out after washing. It came and I knew that to be excited by it, I needed to add a little something. I had in my possession a t-shirt with a design that looked like a Japanese woodblock print. As I added this stretchy shops fabric to the more substantial background, it stretched. Rather than rip it all out, I turned this mistake into an opportunity. I saw that if I followed the horizon line along one of the mountains, I could overlap the extra material and skew the drawing to disguise the flaw. The more I worked on it, the more I wanted to celebrate the "flaw" by carrying the stitching off the image and onto the Japanese shirt. For a little flare, I took a band of a Japanese style dress and wrapped the cuff of each sleeve for another nod to a clothing movement that continues to inspire me. The name of this shirt is "Moving Mountains" shirt. Size: Men's L.
