Product Name: Antique Limoges Decanter, Cognac Decanter, French Porcelain, Fruit Motif, Blakeman and Henderson, shops Late 1800s Early 1900s, Rare, Barware

For shops those who love the rare and unusual, I am pleased to offer this rare cognac decanter from the late 1800's to the early 1900's.

Produced by Blakeman and Henderson Potteries of Limoges, France, this lovely piece is made of porcelain and decorated on one side with a transfer pattern of brilliantly colored apples and cherries.

Hand applied gilt work tops the finial, outlines the handle, encircles the piece at the top and bottom, and is used to spell "Cognac" in beautiful cursive lettering.

The B H Limoges hall mark appears clearly on the underside.

No nicks, chips, cracks or stains. One small area of transfer is "short" please see photo. After 100 plus the cork is expectedly dried out a bit and needs to be rehydrated. A small piece of cork is missing as shown in the picture but it is amazing that the stopper still exists!

Approximate dimensions are

10 1/4 inches tall to rim of decanter body.
The base is 3 1/4inches in diameter.
