Vintage 60's 70's Joan Leslie by Kasper 2 Piece Quilted Set Skirt Crop Vest Embroidered Sequins Size 8 (Fits shops XS/S)

This incredibly rare 2 piece Joan Leslie by Kasper set is in very good pre-owned condition with no evident stains, rips, or holes. There is a section in the back of the skirt hem that needs re-hemmed but this will be an easy fix. As pictured, some of the sequins have broken and are either missing leaving just the bead or are not full but this is expected with normal wear of a piece like this.

This shops set is dated to late 60's or early 70's when Kasper designed for Joan Leslie. The vibrant colors and detail on this set are unbelievable!! Swirls of orange embroidery move throughout fabric. Bold greens, oranges, yellows, and blues fill the stunning geometric floral design. Both circle and square sequins are decorated on both pieces with a small bead in the center. Both the skirt and vest are fully lined in bright orange lining. These are a must-see!!

The orange belt on the skirt is connected to the skirt at the sides and is loose otherwise leaving it open to fold as desired. The belt closes in the back with 5 fabric covered buttons and a snap closure. The skirt itself has a zipper, snap, and hook/eye closure in the back.

The cardboard tag is still intact on both vest and skirt as well as the "Joan Leslie by Kasper labels. Both are tagged size 8 but fits like modern XS/S. See measurements below to ensure a proper fit.

- Skirt length (waist to hem - not including the belt laying on top!): 36.5 inches
- Skirt waist: 24 inches
- Skirt hips: 42 inches
- Vest length (shoulder to hem): 13.75 inches
