"The Vines All Around You II" Metal photograph is made in the darkroom, using liquid emulsion. This image is made from a hand made negative.
Each image is printed only 25 times. These are all small edition photographs, made by hand in the dark room. Each individual piece is slightly different from the next in it's edition due to the physical nature of creating the pieces.
The process of printing on metal includes sanding the metal, coating it with a ground, and sanding the ground to allow the Liquid Emulsion to stick.
The metal is exposed and chemically processed just like black and white photographic paper.


Each piece is slightly different, there may be sanding marks in different areas, as well as small oxidation marks- each lends to the individuality!

I hand make each wood frame, and finish the piece with a UV resistant resin. These pieces can be cleaned with a damp cloth without fear of damage.

This piece is only an inch thick, ready to hang. All pieces I make are titled, signed, numbered and dated. They also come with a Certificate of Authenticity!
