Here is my interpretation of an antique tavern menu sign. It's a reproduction of an Early 18th century sign I believe. This is a similar sign to my larger ones that I offer but a smaller version and I've added the bottles. The sign is painted in layers of brown and white with a light crackle finish with black letters. Also available is the mustard with black lettering. I then sanded and aged it for an old early look. I added wood edges that are painted black and aged as well. The edges add a more old antique feel. I hand paint my all of my signs. No cut stencils are used.
The sign measures roughly 24" x 12". I have added 2 saw tooth hangers to hang your sign. All my signs are unique, hand painted and each piece of wood has different character when aged but I will shops try my best to make it look similar to the one shown. It will arrive signed and dated. This sign is meant to be hung indoors.
