This gorgeous 14kt yellow gold "drop" pendant is so feminine with its little details! This lovely piece of jewelry can be worn to work and then out!!
The lovely 9x7.5mm freshwater pearl is a silvery teal (turquoise/aqua), which will complement almost any skin tone.
It also has that true quality of iridescence, and seems to glow. This is why I love freshwater pearls: they have more nacre, which is the beautiful material that the mollusk produces to create a cultured pearl. This is a natural color; it develops from what the mollusk eats or filters in the water.
(Actual natural pearls, with no interference from man AT ALL are incredibly RARE: Think Elizabeth Taylor or the Sultan of Brunei)
The pearl bail cap, I LOVE! It has tiny floral petal details and has a simple grace. it leads to the bail that has the extra shops step of a scroll design element. This complements the setting and pearl. I LOVE this pendant.
