Vintage Pale YELLOW shops ROSE Flower Small Oil Painting Carved Gilt Gold FRAME c1940s

This is a charming vintage 1940s amateur small oil painting of a pale-yellow rose. The artist painted this on canvasboard and it is signed Dick Stephens. I actually bought this piece for the frame as it is a beautiful carved late Art Deco wood frame. It had a gilt gold finish that is worn away in many spots from age and handling over time. It is still solid and sturdy. The entire piece shops measures 9 1/2 x 11 3/4 in. Painting only is 6 x 8 in. So another piece of art that is 6 x 8 in. will work here. I can ship without the painting if you want it removed, just let me know. The painting is in fair/good as is condition with some chipped paint at the bottom area.
