Large Stoneware shops Bowl Glazed in Glossy Copper, with Embossed Aztec Bird Designs in Gold

A large stoneware three-legged bowl, glazed in a glossy coppery color that is mottled with darker shades of brown and green. In flight in the bowl are four embossed designs of Aztec birds. The designs were originally on clay shops stamps, used to decorate pottery much as I am doing, or coated with ink to stamp fabrics. The birds are glazed in gold.

This would make a great fruit bowl, or just used decoratively. It would also make a lovely gift for any occasion.

The glazes are completely food safe and lead free, and very durable. However, I think it should be hand washed, just to avoid possible chipping from other things in proximity.

The unglazed bottoms of the feet have been sealed with two coats of matte tile sealer.
