The Nimrod Pipeliter was patented in 1947. It is Nimrod's first lighter shops from the company with production beginning around the mid-1940's and wide production in the 1950's and 60's. These lighters just keep going and going with a solid construction you can feel. Made with pipes in mind, this piece of vintage America works like a charm.

Unlike our 'slang', which was made popular by Bugs Bunny in regard to Elmer Fudd, this is what nimrod really means:

All my Nimrod lighters come with a new flint installed. They need lighter fluid and will fire up like new. Expect to find a minor blemish or scratch. I do not sell any item with major issues or wear. The instruction booklet is a copy of an original.
