1960s Blue Herringbone Tweed Wool Sack Overcoat | 39 Short | Ivy League shops Trad

Here is a vintage overcoat by an unknown shops maker, hat can be dated to the 1960s. It's tagged a size 39 Short, but please use the measurements as a reference.

Union-made in the USA of what is assuredly 100% tweed wool, it has a herringbone weave of blue, gray, and green, which gives off a darker blue appearance.

The quality is stunning with full canvassing, and half lining, and it further features great details, like: a 3 button sack (un-darted) front, structured shoulders, welted seams throughout, a notch lapel collar, flapped hip pockets, a center vent and cuffed sleeve ends.


CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition, with no notable flaws.

-Pit to pit: 22"
-Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 18.25"
-Arm length from top of shoulder: 24" plus ~2.5" to let out
-Back length from bottom of collar: 39"
