The Majestic Hotel and Bath House, located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, was a world-famous hotel to where politicians and celebrities alike flocked for the "healing waters" of the town's hot springs. Built in 1902, the hotel and bath house welcomed legends such as Babe Ruth, Lucille Ball, John Wayne, presidents John F. Kennedy, Franklin Roosevelt and more. It hosted musical guests such as Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. After closing in 2006, the structure succumbed to fire in 2014. We handmade this pen from wood reclaimed from the original structure. A certificate describing the nature of the piece will accompany your order.
