Adorable Nursery Lamp w/ Embellished Shade shops Pink & White Wooden Primitive Horse with Hearts Circa 1950s - Fab Baby Gift, Nursery Decor!

Oh my gosh! This vintage primtive wooden white and pink horse-themed nursery lamp is truly too cute for words!

Dating back to the 1950s and manufactured by the Richard G. Krueger, Inc. company in New York City, the lamp measures approximately 17" tall with shade, 11" wide at the feet, and 6" deep.

This darling lamp features a white wooden horse complete with a pink fabric saddle with brass shops stirrups, a white silk looped mane and tail, pink satin ribbon reins, black enameled hooves, and the most adorable expression that's been hand-painted on the horse's face. (See pix.)

Running vertically through the horse's body is a column of round white wooden "beads" that alternate with contrasting pink plastic rings which together are reminiscent of the "turned" brass poles that often are similarly placed/seen on the animals featured in vintage Merry-Go-Rounds.

At the top of this column sits the lamp socket. Lamp has a clip-on shade, a click on/click off switch on the lamp socket, a convenient inline on/off switch on the cord, and a white power cord that is approximately 8' in length. Lamp has been tested and works! A 60 watt or less bulb is recommended.

But, that's not all!

The lamp is topped by a complementary fabric-covered shade featuring a pink and white zigzag pattern that is embellished with tiny baby pink puff-ball trim all the way around the top and bottom edges, topped by a 1" swath of ruffled pink and white trim with sweet embroidered hearts and scalloped edges.

The shade is finished off with two of the same white plastic rings that adorn the central column which have been intertwined and attached to two wider pink satin ribbons simulating a horse's bridle bit.

An absolutely charming piece that would look darling in the nursery or any little girl's room. Would make a truly unique and treasured baby shower or "welcome home baby" gift, too!

Only "flaw" in this vintage is a small diagonal seam at the top of the underside of the shade liner (See pix.) Barely noticeable, simply face the lamp shade against the wall (which would happen normally, anyway) and you or others will never be the wiser. ;)
