Shops Vintage 1970s 1980s Christian Dior mohair scarf

Vintage mohair scarf by Christian Dior. I think this is actually quite old – around 1970s.

Very classic and understated in grey and white with a very finely knitted mohair. Black Dior logo embroidered in the corner.

It has the usual fluff of mohair but is such a fine knit it feels more like wool.

Made in Italy.

In very good condition overall. There are one shops or two irregularities in the knit but this is usual with any woven items.
Some very small light marks that are a yellow / mustard colour. I think they are actually tiny little fibres that have become trapped in the weave, not stains but they are too tight for me to remove. They hardly notice when it is worn. See the photos.

It is larger than a classic scarf but not quite a big as a shawl.

Very nice understated and chic piece.
