Vintage Silk Shantung ~Machine Embroidered Gold & Raspberry Flowers with Vining Leaves Endless Pattern shops ~Cafe Creme Silk ~3+ yards 52" wide

Beautiful 3 yard piece of embroidered silk shantung. This fabric is 52" wide. The silk is a beautiful cafe creme color. The silk is machine embroidered with an endless pattern of vines with leaves and gold and raspberry-colored flowers.

This fabric is absolutely beautiful with no defects or soil that i have been able to see. Please note that the photos on my monitor look more ivory than cafe creme color. I did my best to adjust the colors but shops the sheen on the fabric seems to affect how the color looks. It is a very very light brown tan, like cafe creme. On my monitor the colors of the flowers is very close to accurate.

This is from my mother's fabric stash that she began in the 70s. All of her fabric is vintage. It has been well taken care of in her sewing rooms, but she's moved a couple times, and she has always had cats. She finally had to downsize, and her fabric has been stored in closed plastic bins with sachets an cedar blocks.

This piece does not have any odor that I can detect at all.

Though I check to make sure the fabric is clean and odor-free, I can't guarantee you won't find a stray cat hair or a bit of lint. If you are allergic to cats or very sensitive to cedar or sachets, this fabric may not be for you.
