Clear doughnut shops fused glass pendant

This longer pendant features a circle of of clear transparent glass (cut from an old bottle!) with a silvered wax finish.

The 'doughnut' measures ca.3.5cm x 3.5cm. It is threaded onto a strand of teal-coloured rat-tail satin cord (greener than the photos suggest) ca. 54cm long. It is secured with a lamp-worked glass bead in shades of pale blue and turquoise, together with two silver-coloured beads and two clear glass beads. The glass disc and beads together measure ca. 5.5cm in length. The necklace fastens with a simple, heart-shaped, silver-plated lobster clasp.

Like all of my jewellery, this is a one-off - whilst I could shops recreate something similar, due to the nature of some of the materials used and the processes involved in making fused glass, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same!
