Antique French Bronze shops or Brass Jewelry Casket or Box Hand Painted Female Head Cameo Marked France circa 1891-1920

Up for sale a lovely antique French bronze or brass with a gilt finish jewelry casket or box in a rectangular shape with champfered corners. The casket or box itself is decorated with floral motifs and the lid features a hand painted cameo of a female figure in profile with light brown hair surmounted by a garland of pink rose and wearing a green dress. The painted female cameo is signed with the initials AC. The jewelry casket or box has a red velvet interior with some wear. This item measures 1.75" H x 5.25" W x 4.5" D. It is marked France on shops the reverse which dates the jewelry casket or box to circa 1891-1920. Good condition with normal signs of age, wear and use with wear to the patina particularly on the lid and base. See photos. Free shipping.
