Vintage Holmegaard Viking Decanter by Ole shops Winther

Measures 9” tall by 8” wide.

Designed by Ole Winther in the 1950's, this fat viking decanter was put in production by Holmegaard in the 1960's. The smoke gray decanter features a medallion with a viking face and an oversized spout. The piece came in two sizes, and this is the larger one. In great vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is some roughness on the spout from the production process. Please refer to the close-up photos.
