QUEEN ELIZABETH CORONATION shops Plate 1953
This beautiful Coronation Plate, made to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1953 has a wonderful fancy shape. It's a cream shops china with a sepia portrait of the Queen in the center, with full color flags around her, and surrounding the center are two rings, one red, one gold. The outer design includes four areas filled with an embossed rose design, 2 crowns, and two EIIR designs, then with a gold edge. It is 8 ¾ inches in diameter. It's an Official Design, Made in England, with the seal of the British Pottery Manufacturers Federation on the back. The green back stamp reads Myott (maybe Wyott, it' s not very clear) Sons & Co.Ltd., Made in England. The plate is in perfect condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Neither the designs nor the gold trim show any wear. I will ship as economically as possible consistent with careful packing. If actual shipping is less than my estimate I will refund any difference.
