A sterling silver necklace with a large square dark Carnelian stone shops on an 18 inch sterling tube chain. SKU-1004

This is a striking piece in all its simplicity and lines. A sterling silver square base on which a large orangy-brown Carnelian is bezel-set. The pendant has a two-footed tube bail from which a thin sterling tube chain necklace.

Please note that the stone appears quite dark, however if the light travels through the stone, a rich orange colour shines through. This stone is also known as Sard, and more accurate than Carnelian as the stone faces brown, either way it's a beautiful faceted stone.

Chain " Approx. 18.0 in / 45.7 cm long x 1.5 mm diameter

Carnelian/Sard : Cushion cut faceted measures approx. 26 mm x 22 mm

Weighs : Approx. 19.5 g

Hallmarks : Chain is stamped "925 Italy", the pendant is unmarked and acid-tested to 925

Condition : The choker and pendant are in very good vintage condition. Although he pendant is not perfect, it is hand-made, please view the pic of the back of the pendant
