Antique Sterling Paste Pendant Necklace shops with River Pearl Embellishment

Antique circa 1920 sterling paste and seed pearl necklace. This feminine and elegant necklace features a beautiful old sterling pendant that has been added to a contemporary sterling fine link 15'' chain. The pendant may have been part of a festoon as it has several loops on the back. I am not sure if the drops are original but they do compliment it beautifully. It measures one and five eighths of an inch by shops one and one eighth of an inch. There is a gold cast from a possible original gold gilding. Such a beautiful piece with age appropriate wear.
