Large gold sculpture inspired by the famous World War II V-J Day in Times Square "Kiss" photograph by Alfred Eisenstaedt for "LIFE Magazine."

This "Unconditional shops Surrender" sculpture is made of solid resin with a bright gold finish, mounted to a wood base. The sculpture depicts the Sailor passionately kissing a Nurse bent back in his arms, symbolizing the joy and elation of the war's end. It's beautifully crafted with excellent scuptural detail.

It stands 15" tall on a 6.5" square wood base, and weighs 6.5 lbs. It's in very good condition with no cracks or breaks; the wood base has some finish wear on front.

There are several real life 25-foot versions of this "Unconditional Surrender" sculpture on display throughout the US, from Sarasota, Florida to San Diego and New York City. It's one of America's most iconic images of the celebration of Victory.
