Antique Gold Filled Union Club Phoenixville, Pennsylvania Home Week, 1910. I believe this is a medal for the 440 yard dash as to the engraving on the back of the medal. The medal is a gold filled plaque like shape with a laurel leaf accent at the top and a columns on both sides of the center runner. Red and white enamel highlight the UC logo letters. Very early greek style similar to the early olympic games. Nice detail and raised relief. Odd that it may not have the P in Phoenixville. Or is is slightly cut off. see close up. Center bottom is dated 1910.

The medal is marked on the back Gold Filled, Dieces & Clust 123 Chester Street. Phila. for the maker. The medal measures 2" high by 1 1/8" wide. Weighs 16.7 grams. The medal is in good condition for age. Light wear or tarnish. The top o ring shops has some discoloration. Not sure if its worn or if it has had a repair. There seems to be a depressed line on the spot on the back. It is very stable and not loose at all. Wonderful to use as a necklace pendant or a memorabilia to collect.
