Large dark green and redish brown real Scarab beetle, Mecynorrhina ugandensis from Uganda, presented in a handmade 6"x6" wood frame. Professionally mounted on black paper.

Measures 2.15 inches from top to bottom, not including the legs. Wingspan measures 3.75 inches.

All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM.

All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
